There are few things in the world that rival Colorado’s beauty in autumn. This photography adventure meets that fall color in the middle of the Flat Top Wilderness for some spectacular scenery and new shooting opportunities. Our host for this adventure is Trappers Lake Lodge, located about 40 miles outside Meeker, Colorado. Guide Kaysyn, an accomplished photographer in her own right.
You can expect:
Amazing Autumn color (golden aspens, russet willows, and more!), high country scenery, wilderness adventure backdrops, and the dramatic landscape of Trappers Lake set against a Colorado sky! Cowboys, cowgirls, dogs, pack string, lifestyle portraits, action scenes, and unique mountain setups.

Opening Day of the 2026 Season
We are thrilled to kick off our 2026 season on Friday, May 29th! While we won’t have live music at the Lodge for our opening weekend, we encourage you to take a short drive down to the Buford School House. It’s a wonderful opportunity to traverse back in time to an era when community dances and conversation were the epicenter of mountain culture.
